LiveSmart BC ambassadors will be travelling throughout BC and one of their stops will be Park Royal Shopping Centre. They will provide local residents with information about energy-efficient choices that will help them save money. A LiveSmart BC booth will be set up in the South Mall Food Court.
People who visit the booth will learn how to LiveSmart at home, work, on the road and in their community. They can also try out the LiveSmart BC Lifestyle Carbon Calculator and find out what their personal carbon footprint is, based on a number of their everyday actions. The ambassadors will be able to show people ways to save on fuel and other transportation costs. This includes how choosing to purchase a fuel-efficient vehicle can save $4,000 in rebates or how choosing to keep car tuned up can help save up to $200 a year on gas.
The dates that LiveSmart BC ambassadors will be available at Park Royal are:
