get into your cozies
As the weather gets cooler it's only natural that we want to bundle up. Sustainable fabrics will keep you just as warm as their unsustainable counterparts and they are so much more comfortable. Not only is the fabric just as warm, it is super cozy as well.
go vintage
This fall we see the return of the retro look. Whether it's bell bottoms from the 70's to ankle boots from the 80's it's all back in. Grab a friend and hit the vintage stores to see what retro looks you can find. Not only are you reusing, which is great for the environment, you'll save a bunch of money as well.
don't dispose
The biggest turnover we see in clothes is typically in the items we purchase for our children. When they are young enough for us to dress them they grow out of everything within a season and when they are old enough for them to dress themselves they typically want what's new and in style every season! Go through your kid's closets with them twice a year and donate what they have outgrown. There are many children out there who could use a warm sweater or jacket this fall.
